I’m a native Washingtonian and an experienced sales and marketing professional in travel and tourism, hospitality, new homes real estate, retail and most recently in membership sales with an association. I credit good role models, mentors and an early position with Nordstrom where a foundation for establishing goals and strategic results driven thinking was adopted. My customer service skills are based on developing trustworthy relationships, and practicing active listening skills combined with a servant mentality. This approach has also proven beneficial during the team collaboration process. Today it’s all about metrics, analysis, and return on investment.
One personal achievement was fulfilling a postponed goal of completing my BS degree in Business Management. This experience unleashed an intellectual curiosity. Fueled with this desire, I committed to develop skills in the digital space and achieved an MS degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. In 2017 I added certifications in Google AdWords and HubSpot Inbound Marketing.

Rene’ was responsible for the business development, marketing and communications for the Company during some pivotal times achieving a notable 43% increase with cruise passenger movements during the 2010 & 2011 growth period. She led the rebranding and brand architecture including the renaming of the Company, development of the new logo, brand identity and served as the creative director for all marketing and collateral materials. She played a significant role in the expansion of the brand globally.
